News Readers train themselves to not move their eyes when reading from a teleprompter. For easier results, you should step back as far away as possible from the camera when reading from the prompter. One trick is to then zoom in using a DV camera; this allows you to step further back without losing the full "talking-head" shot.

Hold down the Command (Apple) key and click on a line in the storyboard to instantly add a blank.

Videocue uses the graphics card directly to drive the teleprompter. We added a little easter-egg to showcase the power of the graphics card. When rehearsing, if you press the 'q' & 'w' keys, you can scale the prompter up and down respectively. The 'a' & 's' keys will rotate the prompter around. Hit 'r' to reset it back to its normal position. Impress your friends by reading from it diagonally!
